Kingsburg Car Show April 21st 2007
Kingsburg Car Show April 21st 2007
If anybody is interested...
I am on the Car Show Committee with the Chamber Of Commerce, and am hosting the 3rd Annual SSR Gathering.
The car show is a Pre-'72 event, and I have secured limited space for Car Clubs to DISPLAY their vehicles (those too new to enter the show).
Any HHR owners want to participate this year???
On Friday April 20th - I am expecting the SSR's to start rolling in (Came from 4 states last year). We meet at the 'Water Tower" park downtown and participate in the Friday evening pre-car show activities. A short cruise thru town and there is also a band playing for entertainment.
On Saturday - the SSR's (and other car clubs) DISPLAY their vehicles NEAR the actual car show. (The SSR group also is planning a group dinner Saturday evening in either Sanger (at a a B&B that has banquet facilities) or at Cattlemens Steakhouse in Selma.
On Sunday is the "Roadster Run" to Ragged Point. We'll leave Kingsburg fairly early and drive over to the beach and go directly to Ragged Point for lunch! We'll then head south for photo Ops and may end up in SOLVANG (group rates at a hotel there) for a Sunday Night Stay.
Any HHR's want to attend???? All or part of the weekend - just let me know!

YES, we are definitely interested in joining you for this event!
Many years ago I entered my 47 Plymouth and my 56 Pontiac wagon in the Kingsburg car show. It is a great show. Please e-mail me at brdtwo56@yahoo.com with more details on how we can participate in your SSR gathering. We would enjoy meeting some of our SSR cousins.
Wow - I'm up to 55 SSR's scheduled to attend my gathering - and NO HHR's confirmed... Hummmmmmmmmmmmmm..
If anybody wants to join in for all or part - let me know: (I'll need to get the food reservations finalized in the next week or two)
