I know this is a little on the late side, but I was just talking to the organizer Dave Davidson and they are inviting HHR's to this event in Lughlin, NV. He was pretty enthusiastic about getting the word out. Again I envision this to be the same as the Silicon Valley event with open arms and extreme interest to see the HHR. You will also get to see some incredible customizations that you can transfer to the HHR.
I wil be there as a supporting vendor under Bay Area Zaino, so if you make it, please stop by and pick up a small gift for attending.

The hotel is Don Laughlin's Casino & Resort and it will be a Friday/Saturday event with awards being held on Sunday morning at breakfast.
I skip the awards ceremony and take lots of very cool back roads to Death Valley. If you are interested in the event and a very cool cruise afterwards, jump in.

I can't get the registration form to print at home so dixie is going to try at work. Just wondering if the hotel has special rates for the event?

 

If you can make, GO FOR IT. The PTers are a lot of fun and needless to say the more HHRs the more fun. If any of you can tell the HHRs that show up about DejaVous Rendevous, Harvey and I would really appreciate it. Have a blast and post a lot of pictures.

We are going to try to make this one. It would be fun to be in the middle of all those PTs and show what a real car looks like. Good rates on a hotel and hopefully warmer weather. We hope to not be the only HHR there.

 

The special hotel rates are stil lgood. I just made my reservations on Saturday and got them with no problem.

We made the reservations and sent off the reg form. Was hoping to see lots of HHRs. Good rate for motel and hope warm for us cold weather types. It keeps trying to snow today with a better chance tonight and Wed.

 

Are we going to have the only HHR there? I guess we will be the odd ones again but have been that way all my life so nothing new.

As Steve mentioned, this group is much lilke the Silicon Valley group, and you and your HHR will be welcomed with open arms. So, do not worry about being the odd one, they will make you feel like your home!

I attended one of the Silicon Valley events, along with a few other HHR's. I ended up staying up until the end, and even being the only HHR towards the end, they all made me feel welcome.

 

I missed Disneyland. I had to work overtime.
Sooooo, with that OT positive cash flow, Mr. B and I are headed for Laughlin!
We'll get a campsite for the night up at the lake. It's cheaper than a hotel for the evening. I got extra cash from OT, but I don't make THAT much!
