You Californians are so lucky having other HHR owners around you. I feel alone in western NY.

Mid Calif

Mike & SoCalHHR-
I'm not trying to wreck the trip to River Run, I would just like to meet you all. If you take a long run to the river in March, then maybe a short local in April, then maybe May would be a time for another long run except up this way where there are other distant & sad HHR's want to meet you. I've twice emailed the HHR Club guy in my area, he's in Elk Grove (suberb of Sacto), and have yet to hear from him, so maybe the mid-Cal thing would work for a bunch of us. I'd take an extra day off & go down the Hwy. 1 along the coast if any Nor-Cal folks want to tag along. It's a beaut of a drive.

May 5th is Cinco de Mayo. That or the next weekend would be great.
Mike, talk it over with yer HHRers and feed us the info.

Cinco in Solvang?
Thanks,
Craig... booksmitty

Smitty, my in-laws live in Santa Barbara - so the "Cinco in Solvang" just might be do-able. I will start another thread to see what kind of interest there is...

Will do. I'm going to keep trying to generate some interest and see if we can make this our March g2g. If we could get commiments from 25 people to go - and they would pay $20 each, I could get some "1st Annual River Run" T-shirts printed up!
Then we'd have the first shirts ever and could make this a yearly event.

Well...you can always dream!

Hey, what a great sport!

We would like to commemorate this as the first big event for HHR owners.
I'll get with the T-shirt guy this week and see what's up.
If I can't get them below $20 each it's not worth it for anyone.
And its always tougher with small quantity runs.

Will keep everyone posted...

I will be there sometime early Friday evening, I check into Harrah's around 7pm.
We are going there for are 4 year wedding anv.
Probally Friday night go to a show at the hotel Saturday party and come home sometime Sunday afternoon.

Once there is a total for how many people will show, need to set up a meeting time on Saturday.
