Modesto HHR Club January 2008 G2G
I'm tossing out a few dates for our next G2G/Meeting.
Saturday January 12, 19 or 26. Location: Castle Air Museum, Atwater, California (on the web at www.castleairmuseum.org). Time: 11:00am.
I've heard back from a few members, and I also would like to know if anyone else on the boards has either of those days off, if they would be interesting in attending?
After the meeting, we will be taking a tour of the aircraft on display and will be scouting out the spot under the B-52 wing for the May 2008 Open ****pit (we have the B-52 reserved for the club, and I think we can get maybe 10 or-so HHR's under each wing of the B52.

Everyone is welcome to attend our meeting-G2G. The museum's resaurant has the best burger (the Bomber Burger) you could ever wish for.
After the meeting, we will take a tour of the B-52 where the Modesto HHR Club (California HHR Club) will be setting up for the Memorial Day Open C o ckpit (more info on Open C o ckpit will be given at the meeting)
Let's get an incredible show of HHR's at Castle, as the Valley PT Cruiser's usually have about 50+ of their thingy's show up for their gatherings, and you know, we're just better than them, right?.. RIGHT?

We hope you guys have a great time, but we will not be able to make it the 26th. That is the weekend of the Turlock swapmeet. The 19th would have worked better. Castle is a great place. Hope everybody has a great time. Hopefully things will work out for the next meeting.

I wish I too could make the 26th meet. Unfortunately, Jan 26th is our first points race(we are Summit ET drag racers) so regretfully...I'll be tuning 2 drag cars instead of joining you folks.

January 26 G2G UPDATE
Just got off the phone with Joe Pruzzo at Castle, and there will be a guide available to give all the HHR's there a guided tour of the aircraft on display... including the club's B-52 (for Open ****pit Day).
So if anyone is in the area, and would like a guided tour of the historic aircraft, please IM me or email me at: karl@modestohhrclub.com and let me know. There is no limit to the number of people, but they would like an estimate on how many will attend.

Just got off the phone with Bill and Linda of the HHR Boutique... they will be setting up at Castle on Saturday.
So bring your pocket books, they have some cool accessories for your HHR.
