Modesto HHR Club's September Event
Come on HHR folks. It would be a really bad thing to have an HHR meeting and then to have more SSRs and PTs show up. So all you HHR owners in CALIFORNIA PLEASE oh PLEASE show up in large numbers. Remember stock, mild and wild, young, old, tall, short, with hair and bald, wide and not so wide, running boards, no running boards, red valve cover, or stock, spoiler or no spoiler, dirty or clean (lets keep this clean) Ya all are welcome.

Meeting/Event Update
We may also be hosting a few members of the Central Valley Knights, a Modesto Hot Rod club. Tricia and I were visiting with a woman who works for Tricia and her and her husband are both members of that club, and they have a '49 Ford Coupe that they resto-modded and I invited them and other members to our gathering.
Sofar, we have...
HHR's
SSR's
PT Cruiser's
Resto Mods
and maybe... Mini Coopers at our event.
I am curious to see if non-HHR's will out number Heritage High Roof's.
Here's a little flier in MS Word for everyone to print out and hand out to HHR's you happen to see in passing.
Spread the word around folks! The more the merrier!!

I Just Listed This On The Ssr Sight So We Will See How Many Of The Ssr's Show Up. I Hope Many, I Would Like To Show The Dealer Here That Ther Is A Large Following Of Hhr's And Ssr's So Lets Be There. Im Trying To Get Out Of Working For The Wife On That Day But Dosent Look Good So Far.
I keep looking for some pictures of that amethyst HHR with a spoiler on it. What's going on. Lets have some pics of the b4, putting it on and then the final product. I take that back we already have plenty of pictures of b4. You have already milked this long enough. I know that, that tapes expensive but you don't need 100 yards, just a little bit. Time is running out for your reputation to stay in tak. So lets stop putting this off. Its going to be done sooner or later. Later has already past. So lets do it sooooooner the second time around. I would hate to see you banned from any up coming events just because you couldn't find some tape, screws, glue, duc tape, come on JUST DO. I can only beg for so many months, er is it a year yet. Oh well it will be nice to see ya even if you don't have THAT THING on.

Just heard back from our Modesto P.R. Guy... he was doing a walk thru with the Halvorson's (American Chevrolet owners) and seeing how much room we need. They will be moving out a row of their commercial vehicles and adoring the commercial vehicle lot with a few new HHR's.
The dealership opens at 9am, but if anyone get's into Modesto around 10 or so, you are more than welcome to stop at the dealership and get a good parking space (there will be a few club officers there then.)
If anyone needs a good car wash to stop in, there's a Prime Shine Express Car Wash at 3520 McHenry Avenue. It'll be interesting to see if the attendant tells us that we are the 10th HHR to come thru. in the last hour.
More later.
