Nice. I tried my crystal ball to find out the date but it was inconclusive. Yo!

Tracy I was planning on checking it out Saturday. Parking is a royal pain up there, you are lucky to find one space let alone group parking. They may have a shuttle going in and out but I'm not sure. It is a pretty good show with lots of nice cars.

Maybe we all find our own way there and meet up at the entrance at 10:00 am, just a thought, open for suggestions. Todd (Uma)

They used to have parking available just down the street at Raytheon and shuttle service to Muckenthaler. I didn't see that advertised this year on the Muckenthaler web site.

Last year I kinda felt like I didn't get much value for my $5 entrance, so I'm not completely decided on whether or not I'll make it this year. I've got lot's of activity at home this weekend, so we'll see...

Did you notice the "Overhaulin" cars at that show? I picked out the '64 Vette and the '30 Ford (Black Phaeton) as a couple.

Yes there were a few of the overhaulin cars there and a few of Chip Foose's own cars. My buddy Skeeter used to do work on the overhaulin cars after they were on the show. They had to be certified by a mechanic before the owners got them back. Some cars took months to complete after the show due to various issues. When you throw that many aftermarket parts at a car made by many different companies things don't always work together. They always looked good on TV though. In the later episodes you rarely saw the cars drive off at all, they just stood around them in the shop and started the engines up.

I must say they were top notch cars when they were done and were completely rebuilt show quality vehicles.
