Nethercutt Museum

I am trying to put a something together for March 21 I recently saw this museum on Huell Howser (don't laugh) I thought it would be a fun thing for a Saturday outting. The Museum is located in Sylmar and it has an antique car collection and other antiques. It also has a Pullman car and a locomotive. Pleae let me know how many people would be interested I have an email into them right now. Here is the website if anyone is interested. www.nethercuttcollection.org

That sounds good to me. Kris ask about a dress code when I looked at the site in 2006 I thought it said no jeans.

Be in DC that weekend...

Thanks for the invite, Kris! Looks like fun.

I'm taking the red-eye out on the 20th for a conference that starts the 22nd--taking advantage of the time to see old friends and visiting the free museums. I heard the Ford Theater was recently renovated too! No time for the White House this time, darn...

Gonna be lobbying up on the Hill!

Smile Sounds like a plan to me.

Just reading about the place at the web site has me interested. The collection sounds great too. But, that area requires a guided tour with reservations in advance. The museum itself is self guided. Didn't see anything about a dress code. How about eats? Is there a Taco Bell or Burger King there? Nah, probably a ritzy restaurant. Sounds like a long day looking and posing for pics though.
Count me in.

I am still waiting to hear back from them. I hope there isn't a strict dress code it is a museum for goodness sakes. But I am sure we could all spiff up for the day....

I will keep you posted.

Damn, Kris.
This would be a good enough reason to change my flight--see some of the SoCal HHR gentlemen in long trousers, shoes that aren't sneakers and a shirt with buttons.

We spiff up our cars, why not an occasional g2g?
