I think this might be a good trip to put a few miles on my HHR, I haven't even driven 150 miles and I've owned it for three weeks now. I would probably skip the last part of the trip and stay on 80 to head back to Roseville at the end if that is okay.....

I would be bringing my daughter with me as well.

I believe that I have until Wednesday to commit, correct? So I need to wait a few more days. I hate breaking commitments-- I've done it once already

Hi Fred, Yes Wednesday is the day that Joseph needs to know so that enough lunch materials can be purchased. We really hope you can make it. It will take us approx. 2 hours to get there also.

Fred, skipping the last part would not be a problem at all. Everyone will be glad that you you were there and the sights should be wonderful.

About 12 years ago or so I drove my 63 MG Midget on highway 1, great road for sightseeing. I doubt my particular HHR will handle the corners like the MG did, however I will probably get to see more of the road since the HHR is so much taller.

I look forward to going!

Fred

Important notice

Just got a call from Joseph, he's being inundated with calls from as fall away as So-Cal.

He needs a DEFINITE head count for the run, as he's supplying the food.

Please reply to this post ONLY if you know for sure you will be able to attend. If how many calls he's gotten sofar is the look of how many actuall HHRs will be there... we're looking at about 100 cars.
