Ouch! so that is where that came from!

I got to park next to the other HHR at work. I saw that she had parked a bit forward, so I took a good look.
She will now have the same scratches on the bumper that I do, as she parked nose-in to a cable fence in the parking garage. The cables nicely go over the top and bottom of the front bumper.
I have Pictures, I will try to post them once I am not at work(unless I can figure out a way to do it from here!).

here are the pictures behind the story. She has a Silver paint job, so this will not show up as much as it did on mine.

Hopefully I have the images down-sized enough. And please excuse the quality, it was the best my phone could do.

Just beware cable fences everyone!

One of the reasons I'm glad I never have to use parking garages!

That is true! Still shiney, and beads nicely after it rains.

I still need to find time to get her looking pretty-er again

I am surprised that she has not gotten ticketed on the missing front plate here in CA.

I have been lucky myself without the front plate. I think about it everytime I see a cop too.

From the other forum I'm on. Some people take the front tag mount and "damage it" and bang up the tag itself too. Then throw it in the back of the car. If stopped you show it to the cop and tell him you are getting a new bracket from the dealer since this one fell off and got run over. Usually works to just get a warning.

Three years w/o a front plate no problem, My question is about the cable thing..is it not visible to the naked eye, I'm sure there is tension on it..so you would realize that you just hit it? Maybe, at least back off of it. I am just sayin' Todd (Uma)
