Glad everyone had a great time yesterday. I gotta give a big thank you to the museum for letting our club in for free, that was really nice. Going to send them a very nice letter. And as Todd said, Johnny Rockets food was great. Daryl thanks again for driving up from S/D,and for Debbie for driving down from S/C. I hope Todd,Kris and Tim enjoyed thier tour thru Whittier. (freeeways were a mess).

 

Thanks Tracy for organizing this! We had a great time, and it was good to meet new people I have seen on the board, but haven't met in person. Daryl, can't believe you drove all the way from San Diego! You get the long distance award of the day! And thanks to Larry & Marilyn for the green gems!

 

Sounds like you guys got a DEAL on the museum...how cool is that? Did anyone get pictures of the old Batcar with the Orange trim? If so, please post so I can see how close that other car I photographed (and posted on Facebook) comes to the original.

Looking way forward to Ruby's - less than 2 weeks now.

It was great seeing the people from here and going to a car event I'm not working for a change... Missed some of our usual suspects, but we will get a chance again I'm sure. Tracy, thanks for putting this together. This group of people is great to hang with.

 

Isnt this Donut Derelicts place located in Huntington Beach? If so, We are planning on visiting both HB and New Port beaches before we go home on the 25th/Friday. We just might have to make a 'pit stop' there to check it out. Any one interested in meeting up there for a donut for lunch?

 

Thanks for posting pictures of the cars and gathering of some HHR fans. Also the youtube video from Grumpee was fun to watch.

Don - Monday we spotted HHR with a "rear wiper" - we tried to stop them and call you to neuter it!!!!!!
