Sorry to hear your guy is sick. Had my flu shot a month ago. No problems, but I did catch a heck of a cold just after that.

Hope he's feeling better quickly.

Just info mitzkity....

I got my flu shot on Friday of last week. Tuesday, 4 days later, I came down with the worsed case of flu that I ever had (I'm still fighting it now).

Went to the doc 3 days ago, and got a antibiotic shot (secondary BACTERIAL infection) and a prescription for the same. It helped greatly, but the cough is horrendous.

Doc and all available info state, you can't get the flu from the flu shot because the virus the shot is made from, is inactive....but, I don't know. I've heard of this happening to many times now. My doc, who is our states largest provider of flu shots, says the shot must be given 2-3 weeks before being exposed...to be effective. Wish I knew that 4 WEEKS AGO.

Wish your hubby the best....

Oh, and I seldom get the flu.

Well, I never believed it before - do you think you had it before the shot or something? He sure got it. I'm so sorry we missed the trip - missed it all! The nausea, well, never mind, but we got that taken care of at Kaiser, and now he's considering liquids. Thanks Snoopy. but 4 WEEKS!!!!???? That's just horrible - what did you have, serial flu bugs? I AM NOT GETTING THIS!!!

Just put us in line somewhere behind Sindy for PHOTOS PHOTOS PHOTOS!!!

How was the event?
I've been out of the country for 2 weeks and have been on my butt with the worst cold I have ever had since! (26 hour flight home just about killed me!). I wished I could have gone--Blackie and I are dying to go on some kind of road trip--next time!

Please post pix!
(for the record, I never get a flu shot and rarely get colds)

We had fun, ok I did. Got to meet some great people and see some great HHR's.

2 Panels and about 8 regular. Bagged, dropped, big wheels, slick paint, two toned, loud mufflers and bone stock. Great turn out.

The museum had some fantastic cars.......

After we walked and talked, a few went to the famous "PINKS" for hotdogs and a few went to last original Bob's Big Boy in the USA the rest went their way.

Afterwards, a few of us spoke about our next SoCal run..... We thought about a picnic and economy run....Cruise night at Bob's Bigboy, Wadda ya think?

Thanks to all that were able to make it and well wishes to those that were under the weather....... Get well soon.
