Lived in Ontario 5 yrs. I know! Sac isn't exactly a cool town in summer.
We do get 100 often, too often.

We go just about every year. Already got our entry forms in the mail with the route and all the info. This year we will be taking the 69 Chevelle and Burt's 72 Chevelle.

It will also be the anniversary of when I got my HHR. We got the call that it arrived when we were out doing the Poker Run.

Sometimes it is really hot, sometimes not. It rained one year, that sucked!

I can make it for the Saturday Sept. 16. Sunday the 17th is the Chargers home opener vs. the Titans and I'm a season ticket holder! The other days I work.

Can someone who's been there let me in on what goes on there? Besides all the cool rides...

Route 66 Cruise

Bad news, guys and gals, The Route 66 Rendezvous is only open to 1900 to 1973 vehicles any year Corvettes, Vipers and Prowlers, as registered participants, which mean no open header cruise for the HHRs. It is open to all as spectators. There is a cruise one week later in Costa Mesa @ the OC Fairgrounds that is billed as the largest single day car show on the west coast, Open to all rods, customs, muscle & classic cars, Corvettes, trucks, specialty vehicles, and PT Cruisers.
Cruisin' all day! Limited to 3,300 entries.
Anyone interested taking their HHR needs to call the organizers to see if they will accept a seperate class for the HHRs.
