I need coffee.

Xochitl decided to jump on me and the dogs woke up...so now I'm up.

grrrr...

Daryl, I snore too, so we can 'saw logs' and keep everyone up if need be!

See you all in a bit!

Have a good time everybody.
It turns out that I have to help my daughter move again(I was volunteered), I can can't make it out there...

Another great Socal HHR G2G

I just wanted to thank all of you that went today for another great time.
Good friends, Elle's famous Chilidogs and lots of really cool cars. Oh yea, there were some nice Non HHR's there too.

As we cannot seem to sit still for too long, we also:

Removed Sindy's rear wiper
Removed Mitzkitty's rear wiper
Installed Angies, pink bowtie beauty bar
Installed Elle's rear sway bar and 3rd brake light decal

Was cool to get a reaction from the other's nearby. Im sure they thought we were a little crazy.

Got a chance to meet Sindy's dad Bill too and his really cool 50's Ford 'vert.

Kris, Todd and Tim won raffle prizes and I think Kris even traveled home with "gifts" from me.

For the others that live in Socal, you really should try and make these events, they really are a lot of fun.

+1 to what Don said.
First off, MANY thanks to Charles (and to HotRodBOB) for inviting us!

Not *everything* went without a hitch..."someone" closed my hatch (Todd) after everything was unplugged and Jayson and Tim both had to crawl into the back to sort it out so it could be opened again (seriously, I NEVER have that much stuff in the car!)

Weather was great.
HATED getting up at 2.30 am to get ready for this (had to make chorizo burritos!)
Nice to walk around with someone who *knows* cars and could explain things to me!

UMA was sorely missed, but SPOT was passed on to her while she convalesces.

And gosh--how did those gifts get into Kris's car?!

I <3 SoCal HHR's! I just enjoy being with these folks!
(btw, Don, did you pull an "angie" and miss the entrance to the 5??!! )

And I am thrilled to finally have a personalized TodUMA (tm)--it looks brilliant!

Fair enough!
Was wondering if I should follow or not--since you know, my <cough> penchant for getting lost...

Thanks to you and Tim for your help today! I feel guilty--he keeps spilling blood when he helps me!

Don

Oh yeah Don they are looking for the litter bug that tossed the LOSING tickets in my car.... Its ok I was really pulling for you to win the 50/50. Lunch on you would have been interesting LOL.

It was a beautiful day in sunny So Cal. It is amazing how many people stop and talked to us about our cars. Elle and Marshall were selling cars like crazy today.

Thanks Elle for the lunch it hit the spot. Thanks Charles and Bob for recommending this show. I heard Charles car might make the channel 4 news so all tune in.

Thanks to everyone else not mentioned for all the great company and for my official first get together with everyone. Last weekend was my trial run with the guys.

Kris

3rd that !!
Great People, Fantastic Cars, raffles, food and fun .. What a day !@
The WHOLE family made it today and I was so happy :)) and still smiling.
Rebecca was glad she came and is already in bed asleep :)
She also said that I must of gotten in the wrong truck to drive home and we need to go back and get mine. Because the ride after putting on my new sway bar was SO DIFFERENT ! What you didn't know is the road vibration travels through to my 'foot' which is no longer there but that vibration is hard on the remaining leg and can cause fatique and pain. My back didn't feel the bumps and Rebecca was able to lay on her side on the way home. So clearly, we came home in the wrong truck, even though Kris and Cheri and Dorian all saw us drive by them
Charles thank you for the invite and also for the flaps and when I get the clips I'll get them on and decide from there or pass them on
Bada Bing Boy :) What can I say but thank you for putting up with my ahem persistance with the 3rd light decal. And not letting me take my leg off and scream to mess with folks while we were doing the sway bar sick humor I love it !! Once I get going I'm hard to stop when it comes to mechanical things.
Tim, love the taillight sticker but must admit all the way home was whining. Dorian and Cheri got to see it, Kris and Toddman got to see it, but NOoooo I can't see it... grrr guess I need to get out there and get some pics. Also, would you please stop drawing blood on these mods we do. Just because they are under 100 bucks doesn't mean you have to make up the difference by blood donation !!
oh and Don, please let me know when you come up with the rear wiper fluid mount upgrade
Todd, tell Uma to be nice to Spot and keep him warm.
Sindy, tell you Dad it was wonderful meeting him and seeing his ride.
Grumpee, wake up !!

Ok, so when is the next 'fun run' ??
curtsy
