I watched the 6pm (NBC) news and they were all around us with the TV cameras. I did spot my passenger door and windshield area in the background of one shot. I wish I could stay up for the 11pm news but that is not going to happen. This dog it tired!

EDIT:

Upon further review of the video shown on NBC the vehicle I thought was my car was in fact one another car with a similar 2-tone color combo. Thank you Ellen and Marshall for capturing that video.

I still had a great day though!

Angie your "rear" looks great. UMA was missed but Todd the most important part of Todd/Uma was there. It sound like Tim should get the Purple Heart he posted in another thread.

Okay how many guys does it take to open a rear hatch after someone closes it after disconnecting the lock mechanism..... and the answer would be 4

The answer was obvious, One dumbass closed the hatch, that would be me. Then we all sat around waiting for a woman to fix the problem. Then when she seemed to be in distress, we all jumped up to try and save the day. You should know how we work by now, LOL. Todd (Uma)

Todd, I don't think we would be SoCal HHR's if something didn't go wrong! Tim giving blood; Don's never finding that bolt (oh wait, you dropped that didn't you?!)

I crashed and burned about 6.30 but it was a nice, restful sleep and as Tim said, what a great day with friends!

Both of them said quietly to themselves, " Just plug the chingas back in and the latch will open" BUT NOOOOOOOOOOO. The cavalry was called in. What you didnt see was the 14 people that climbed into the back of Angies car with hammers, torches, etc. to open the hatch.
