Todd is threatening to keep Spot...but maybe we can give him a 'pass' for this week since it is a friendly g2g and not a show-we can have him pick a new car next week..

Dorian, I can always pick up a few more 'cados and toss them in when I get to your hacienda if we start to run out--but guacamole is totally easy to make!

Dorian and Cheri have a great house and what a back yard!. Food was really good, D's wings and Angies Guac were amazing. Great to see Bud again too!

Our little crew is getting to know each other better and I havent laughed like that in a long time ( I needed it! ).

I am so glad I got involved here and with the Socal HHR's. All of us seem eager to keep getting together and often. Next week John Force Racing and more kickin' and chillin. We need to see if we are going to meet up and eat or whatever before or after the event.

MANY thanks to C&D for their hospitality and good spread and spirited conversation. Glad everyone liked the guacamole and beans (recipes to whomever wants!). Great group of folks who welcome this (normally) very shy and dorky old-Punk with more 'chrome' in her hair then on her car!

And yes, I feel like an uber-DORK for getting lost--an OC girl with NO sense of direction.

I cannot say enough about today! I think this may be the best G2G I have been to. Dorian and Cheri opened up their beautiful home to all of us. We had great food, Dorian IS the Wingman! Angie's beans and Guac where just great, Tim's roll-ups where sweet..... But Sindy's salsa, although I will feel the pain tomarrow, was the best salsa I have had, it turned me beet red, and running for something cold...but I couldn't stop eating it! To put the nail in the coffin..she gave me the rest to take home, which I am about ready to go finish off. Like Don said, I have not laughed so much in a long time, it was great and I think that we are more than just fellow HHR owners. We are becoming more than that...just good friends! Also I have to give a big thanks to Tim for the grille, and the rear beauty bar. I owe you BIG TIME. I got the lower grille done, will post in a new thread. I removed the logos off the front grille and the beauty bar in the rear, and will paint tomarrow. The beauty bar will also be black tomarrow just to see how it looks, I think I will like it! As far as your under grille goes.. if you like mine then I will just go to Lowe's and get the same material Elle gave me and do yours. I will paint yours the way you want it, you may need to help me figure out how to fasten the bottom. Pics of mine will be a little off center, will fix tomarrow. Todd(Uma)
