They are actually "49" Pontiac lights, or at least I think that is what he told me, they are definately from the forties, but I am sure they are all close. His name is Ralph, and unlike some, who do not like to give away there secrets...He did! He even offered to come over and help me with them. Really great guy with lots of cool ideas. He said his next mod is making the rear hatch open sideways, or split it in half! He is from Huntington Beach. He said he has posted, so he is on this website somewhere, and will show up to more events. Todd (Uma)

Todd I am very interested especially if the blue dots are legal too!!!

Do you think we could do this as a G2G if we all brought our tail lights and he was there to supervise?

I hope Ralph is ok with me posting the lights. As long as everyone doesn't run out and get a set! At least we all know he was the first one to put them on. Somehow I missed Ralph, possibly due to the slow service at Original Mikes!

Paul we had 15, I thought that was great! the newbies include Elle, and her husband Marshall with a black panel with sweet wheels, Ralph..with the white HHR with the really cool old taillights that you have already seen. Don, with the white HHR showed, (you may have already meet him) A nice local couple with a 2006 spring edition, bright red, that Cheri recruited just a few days before. A red panel from Connell Chevrolet, sorry missed the name. And of course all the regulars. Missed you, and I forgot to drink a beer just for you..but had a couple when I got home LOL!! Hope to see you soon, Todd(Uma)

Blue dot's aren't legal, however thousands of cars in California have them. It's like the front license plate, technically you have to have one. You are a rebel Cheri, go for it!

Tim, he came to the G2G to see my wheels because he wants to do something similar, so I don't think that would be a problem in this case. I also don't think there would be a FLOCK of people wanting to dig into their stock lights, but who knows?

I just want to know if one you do it, you are committed to it.

And also, are the blue dots legal in CA?

I told him that some people have problems giving away their mod secrets...not him...he is really cool. He pulled the panel of the interior of his car just to show me how to do it!! Yeah, Tim I had a good talk with him while everyone was eating LOL. Todd(Uma)

Isn't imitation the sincerest form of flattery??
Wasn't Ralph the gentlemen who showed up to Donut D's on his way to work (had his uniform on)? I could swear it was a white HHR.

I love these lights, thanks Tim for finding them--perhaps Bush's rebate can get them for me. I think Bud told me the blue dots were illegal (of course, he has them on Harvey!)

But now that my sister approves, I think the visor or eyelids may be a consideration!
That is if Mizkity doesn't mind...

Todd I'm glad you got to talk to Ralph. I missed out on that one.

Cheri, I think these would look great on Mitzkity. The Blue Dot's would match but how about just on the lower set of lights and the smooth ones on top. Then the blue dots would only come on when you were backing up. The top lights are tail and stop lights. I'll try and work up a photoshop.
