Thanks to JAYKWILLS, who suggested that we have our own map on Google Maps, and to Hillsdale HHR who told me how to do it, I made a map and put myself on it. Now, anyone who wants to can either put themselves on it, or PM me with your real e-mail address so I can send you the blurb from Google with the link in it. That is, I BELIEVE you can put yourself on it. I think all you do is put in your city and when it takes you there, you add it as a location point, edit the blue locator point with your own personal touch, and you're done.

Now who wants to test this out for me? I believe this is the link:

Have fun - see if you can add yourselves. I didn't put in my full address, just my city and zip code, but you can do whatever you wish.

 

OK, I can't say how I did it, but I did it and have placed Blackie and I on the map! We live in beautiful SanTana!

And thanks to Tom for the GREAT decal!!! Of course, I <cough> messed up while putting it on...but it does have the bowtie and "SoCal HHRs"

Okay well I got us on the map, only to have google say they were have difficulties and could not save right now. I'll try again later. It's not hard log in or create an account, then go back to the map and on the left side you will see a little edit button click it then click on the blue pin point and place it on your city and add you name! easy!!!

I wonder if Blackie ever drives around Anaheim way --- as I do see a black one every so often. But WOW, seems like everyone I see in an HHR is on the friggin' PHONE!!! COOL, folks, we have 4 people on the map now!!

Great start to your map You may want to add the link of the map to your signature to get it more exposure

 

I usually go to Casa Garcia's on Sunday's for brunch (best nopales y chorizo in town!), but other then driving Blackie to Beppo on Harbor for dinner 2 weekends ago, don't get to Anaheim much.

And I work in Irvine..you know my Blackie by the CAL front plate, sunroof usually opened, old-school punk-rock blaring and a stubby antenna...my front windows are tinted pretty dark so i try to wave from the sunroof!

I do make a point of not using my phone when i drive, but yes, I do see many of us multi-tasking in our little cars!
