If you're coming down the 15, suggest you avoid 78 and wait until you get past Rancho Bernardo and take the 56 over to 805/5. That way you can avoid the stop lights on Miramar Road.

So, if I were to meet up with you guys, I'd have to leave the house between 6-6:30. I still have to go to Google and get directions and suggestions and approximate driving times and such. In my head right now, I'm thinking I have about a 3 1/2 -4 hour drive, I could be wrong. It has been awhile since I went to San Diego. Once I go to check things out I'll get back to you. I may just head straight down the 5 or do the 405 to the 5. After that, only my Garmin knows.

Okay, just scoped out a map.

The trip to La Jolla Village Dr/UTC Sears will be around 185 miles with driving time @ 2 hr and 45 min. according to MS Virtual Earth. So, I guess I'm hitting the road before 7 am. And, it will be mostly on the I-5.

So, maybe I'll pass by the gang at the Wal Mart in Anaheim, or they will be just ahead of me.
