I completely forgot to get my camera out of the car. She took plenty and said she would e-mail them to me. At her speed, that might be a week from now.

She also came up with an idea to make up some embroidered t-shirts. I gave her the extra SoCalHHRs decal Tim gave to me for a template and she will incorporate the ChevyHHR.net web address also. She's got carpel tunnel syndrome in both wrists, so that could be a factor into how fast she can come up with a sample. Will that be a problem with anything legal?? She tells me that if I told her about it in advance that she could have brought a couple along for viewing.

Anyway, when I finally got home, after driving the I-5 parking lot, I did a little more cosmetic items on the Smurfinator. I would have done the window vent visors before, but wanted to have a day or two with the windows closed to get them seated good. I put my SoCal decal above the ChevyHHR.net decal on the rear window and installed the brake light decal (only broke one tab). I'm putting those pics in the gallery.

Before I forget, I had a great time meeting new folks and getting ideas. It was pretty hectic in the parking lot with the everyday crowd of shopper/customers for Tom's. Having a personal close eye view of all the rides sure beats pics on the web though. Not that any pics on the web aren't good. Thanks Tim for the decals.

 

Ang, I did not get to spend enough time with all my friends, I also did not get enough time to talk to all the new people, and especially thank everyone properly, just not enough time!!! Again, thanks to all the people that donated to the raffle, and Tim, for his suberb recruiting, and PR skills. It was indeed a great day for SoCalHHR's. We didn't leave till about 6PM and the last of the Balts left around 5:30PM Thanks for showing up guys!!! Great having you there today, Let's see,, we had brakefast at the cafe, Lunch at the mex Rest. we went wine tasing and bought some as well, rode the train twice, bought some Fudge MMMMMMM!! and a carmel apple MMMMMMMMMM!! and even brought home some fresh produce!! Plus my wife browsed EVERY store there LOL We had a GREAT Day!!! Great Weather, GREAT Friends!! And a Great Location!!! Big Thanks to everyone!! Joe & Nancy + 2 Grandsons who thanked ne for a fun day!! How about that!

 

WOW! Looks like a great time! Next year? That would be a helluva road trip!

Just made it home, Had a great time just want to thank everyone that came out today and worked so hard to make this a great event. Todd I will be sending my son's basketball schedule so all future event can be planned around me. I took the long way home. GREAT EVENT, GREAT PEOPLE, and GREAT TIME.
