Kevin, Sorry to hear about your speeding ticket. Maybe if you had gotten it on the way down we could have taken up a collection for you.

Please understand that SoCal HHRs does not endorse exceeding the speed limit by more than 8 mph above the posted limit. Anything over 8 and you are on your own.

Last year at this event we had 11 cars and a dream. This year 37 HHRs plus the Cobalts. The bar has been set.

BTW: There were 3 HHR owners that car-pooled to the event with other HHR owners. That would have made 40 HHRs!

I just got this one - it's a classic --

We started with a water spot on someone's car, which Angie awarded wit SPOT, the doggie. Well, Dusty ended up wanting a home in recipient Todd (Uma)'s car, so Angie brought us a gray dog named DUSTY. Dusty lived with me awhile and then got awarded to Don (HipHotRod) I believe... and Dusty wanted to stay with Don.

So ladies and gents, I give you the newest dirty car award, the DUST BUNNY!

For the record...

Cheri told me to pull my sleeve down and just realized how short I really am as I'm standing on my seats!

I'm digging the way damron's pic came out!

OK, here is the breakdown of the pix/people/hhr's as I know it:

Old school: Frank, one of the "flyer-folks" (we were comparing pinstripes)

After my pic is the "reverse-Tim" Selman Chevrolet Panel (it had a Wii in it!) that my nephew brought.

After Tracy and his wife, that's John in a Cardinal Red Metallic with black chrome and visor that he had special ordered from Selman--gorgeous color.

I thought the red panel at first was HotRod Bob...but not sure who it was.

Couple next to the Aqua Blue are Tim's neighbors (?)

Silver with orange gentlemen was a "flyer-folk" person as well

The wrap was Cathy and she has attempted to join the site under milosmom but was having trouble (she emailed me--I think she's up now??).

Lastly, not sure who the other red panel belonged to either...

GREAT PIX, Cheri!
@ngelita...

Cheri I know some of the names of the HHR owners you missed. The Red Panel(next to Kims) was Lonny. The red one on the end of a row with the man with the hat his name is Tom from one of the Dakotas I believe South, The Cardinal Red car his name is John. The Gentleman with the Wrap his name I think was Ed did not catch his wifes name.

The ones I posted to my account are actually sized down fro the original to take up less space on my account, so if anyone wants 1 of the ones I took in the original size, just let me know which 1 you want and I can email it to you or something! I didn't think they came out so hot, lighting was tough out there with so many cars and shadows and the lighting just seemed weird, but thanks!

Is this the record for the number of HHRs at g2g across the country? I would think so.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:18 PM.
