Can't make any promises. There is a slim chance that I may be picking up my ride that weekend. I Hope. It is supposed to be built this week, minus the performance display. According to my calculations that's about a 93 mile drive (each way) for a break-in road trip. Anyways, I got my fingers crossed. But, if Leon can make it all the way from Ridgecrest, I ought to be able to make the effort. I'd only do it if I have my new ride.
And I do have a turbo tech sway bar, waiting to be installed.

pappa we have someone coming from Oakland, so PLEASE try and make it if you get the car! We are ALL just dying to see it (finally) as I know you are anxious to get it!

Also, gonna volunteer some of the guys here but we CAN NOT g2g without adding or deleting something from someone's car...so I'm sure that if you bring the sway, you may come in shimming, you will (not) leave swaying!

Anyone up for some horsetrading?

Since SoCal HHR's has a tendency to cannibalize parts from each other, I have a K&N filter that was bought new, is now 'gently used' and has been sitting in my "parts-I've-taken-off-Blackie box" that I'd like to sell if anyone going is interested?

Only has about 150 miles on it, in original box.
I have a 2.4, but don't know if it makes a difference

Chime in for mod requests: I have tools and ramps I can bring.

We can do leveling springs......45 minutes
Sway bars........10 minutes
Removal of rear wiper........15 minutes
More stuff too.

Just ask and we will accommodate.

Don't forget tail-light mod if needed...and Jayson is the pro at installing the mudflaps.

One more thing:

For the new folks--ALWAYS read the last POST for any changes or updates!

(and I know we can make 100 posts by the 8th!)

I'm kind of reluctant to tear up the lift gate so soon after I get my ride, but, I do have a brake light overlay that goes on the light lens itself (not the window glass), plus I know I won't need the rear wiper. That is if I actually take delivery before the 8th. I just wish they made splash guards that were molded to fit the SS. I have read that some dremel modification is needed to fit the ones that Chevy sells now, for @ $85. I already have a bunch of stuff waiting in the garage.
