SoCalHHRs meetings
 

SoCalHHRs are going to start monthly meetings beginning in April. They will be held on the first Sunday of each month. Location is Angelo's Hamburgers at 511 S. State College Blvd. in Fullerton. Time will be 11:00am. No pressure to show up and no dues,just meet and greet and have a good time.

Wow..haven't seen you guys for a long time. We got involved with a motorcycle group, and THEY meet the first Sunday..too. Both Jackie and I are heavily involved with the motorcycle stuff..but we miss you guys. Maybe you'll drop us a line and invite us for something happening NOT the first Sunday. We have a SOM Orange HHR, no mods, still stock.

You guys are always welcomed,just to let you know were also on FaceBook. Just look up SoCalHHRs.What i post on FaceBook for g2g's i also post on here,for members who don't do FaceBoook.

Great turnout today10 HHRs. Salvador it was nice meeting your new bride Samantha.And her blinged out Chevy emblems. Renee thank you for bringing the goodies.Todd already beat me to the punch, and installed his new SS spoiler. My new chrome beauty bar will go on this week.

Thanks Tracy great seeing you guys again, oh and my wife really likes the old school chevy emblem you have on your grill And thanks about the bling, did it myself. The chevy emblems were kinda tricky, but the HHR and LT emblems were easy. Tomorrow I'm going to the muffler shop, gonna install the MAGNAFLOW muffler I took off my SS and put it on my wife's LT along with the Stock SS chrome tip. Then in a few days ill install the chrome grill I bought from Cindy. Crap Todd already installed the spoiler??? Geezzz freakin fast on that one.

That may be hard to find. I did see some on eBay but they crazy expensive over 200 :/

I will have club logo stickers with me today at the meeting.

OK, this is my 2nd attempt to reply to this thread. I don't know what happened the 1st time but for whatever reason it didn't work.

My wife and I recently purchased a 2008 HHR SS and we tried to find the meet and greet last Sunday. I guess I screwed up and went to the original address listed on page 1 of this thread in Fullerton and did not realize that it was in Anaheim. Just so we don't miss it next time, what is the nearest cross street? How long do you hang out there? We have church until 10:30 and since we are coming up from North San Diego County it takes about 1 hour with no traffic and if last Sunday was any indication, there seems to be a lot of traffic going north on the I-5 at that hour. Maybe we'll try the I-15 next time and come west on SR91.

We are looking forward to meeting other HHR and SS owners as well as finding out more about our new vehicle. Thanks!

Haven't been on here for quite a while. See that you have been meeting up in Anahiem. How was the July meeting? We are an HHR family and may bring both to the August meeting. Will keep checking for the reminder.

Just to let SoCalHHR members know,next months meeting will be at our house (Tracy & Julie) in Whittier at 5:00pm on August 3rd Saturday. We are having a barbeque/potluck. We just need to know how many are going to show up.

Guitarn54, welcome to the forum.We are on this forum and also on Facebook (socalhhrs).Next weekend some of us are going to San Diego for a car show at Sea Port Village on July 28th.If you can't make the car show(short notice) hope you can make the next meeting in August.We just bought a second hhr 08' LT.

I just wanted to let everyone know how great the BBQ/Potluck was last weekend! Tracy and Julie went all out and provided a wonderful location for the monthly meeting! They opened up their backyard and home to all of us and were gracious hosts! This was the 1st meeting that Cynthia and I were able to attend and everyone there went out of their way to make us feel at home. We are excited to be part of the SoCal HHR group and we look forward to future meetings!
