The trooper probably helped Todd wipe her off

Yeah, I got lucky. Since it was a back road, he said he usually gives 15mph over the posted limit, but he gave me a break. He was a nice guy, todd (Uma)

No, Paul and Tim, he did not help me wipe her down, LOL. I gotta tell you though, she needed it! I tried my best to keep her clean on the trip, but it was hard. I wiped her down twice a day, but it was so windy through Vegas, Utah, Colorado, and Kansas, it kept me busy. And dodging the wildlife was a little more important. I loved the trip...seeing family, etc. But I am glad to be home!! Thanks for remembering and thinking of me! See you soon, Todd (Uma)

Oops

I was not as lucky as Todd & Uma coming home Sunday through New Mexico. Officer Holder was not impressed by the Grand Prix rental I was in, especially since I think he was driving a Bonneville. I haven't been pulled over since '82 so I was surprised to say the least.

He got me at 81 in a 65 fair and square.

Last exit in Gallup too, seconds from a clean get away!

Thanks Sindy I'll post it over there. If I can find it?

$97 Simoleans, which I thought it was reasonable compared to California violations

Damn..Sorry Tim, If you were driving that sweet HHR you would have been home free. Well we can only reflect on that now. I may have gotten out of a ticket, but I cracked a windshield, and overheated my brakes coming down the Rockies...so choose your poison! Traffic school should take care of that ticket. Let me know about Sat morning. 8:45 at Wal -Mart. Todd (Uma)
