the dealer thought that a problem related to my heater not working properly would be fixed with a reflash

but seriously i hope that takes care of it. it is about the last thing that you haven't tried.

I'm hoping so!

Also...I didn't realize that it will delete the Trifecta tune as well. So.....if it runs good on a reflash.....I can either get it re-tuned by Vince for free....(I just have to pay for shipping and the security deposit for the GT Tuner)...or go another route...

If you get it reflashed and then retuned by Trifecta again, you will be right back where you started. The flash is a tune file. If you get it retuned, it will overwrite what they reflash. Trifecta needs to right a tune setup for the 3-bar sensors. If it still has a problem, it is either a bad sensor or bad wiring.

According to Vince, there is nothing wrong with his tune. The tune from Trifecta IS setup for the 3 bar bosch sensors. I have already replaced both sensors and checked the wiring several times. Also installed an oil catch can just incase one of the sensors happened to get oily.

You say "you will be right back where you started". That's exactly how I want it. I started out 100% fine. But after driving it for 2 months....it went down. Whne it went down....I didn't have have the Trifecta "engaged". Do people have problems with the GMS1 tune itself??

Here's some thing you haven't tried. When I tried my k&n filter with trifecta it ran crappy cutting out . Put a new paper filter in there zoom. Got better again with fresh oem plugs.

A dry AEM Filter is on it's way....BUT...I had the K&N installed along time ago....and it ran fine.

Everything about this problem doesn't make a bit of sense. Thats why I kinda think it's the PCM goofing up.

I have the GMTU and a k&n filter element. One time the k&n filter just came off and I noticed a difference right away. My boost levels were low and the car just didn't run normal. I pulled it over right away an opened up the hood to to find the k&n filter just laying in the air box . Put it back on and it was good to go.

Anyone know what happens to the car when u are running without an air filter?....how does it affect the parameters?
