Boost Leak Test...how long should it hold?

Someone told me that when you do a boost leak test....the PSI should hold for over 24 hours? Can anyone confirm this? I did a boost leak test...it held for several minutes...then leaked down slowly. (and yes, I checked all of the fittings/piping/end tanks for leaks with soapy water)

I hope you told your new tech guy about your leak test results. Tell us what he said.
