Boost Problem???

I was on my way home when I threw a CEL for the MAS. I could feel the car go into limp mode running low boost. Very noticeable. I pulled out my trustee code reader/ code eraser and deleted the code. When I accelerated again I noticed the boost gauge went up higher than normal, so being the smart person I am I stomped on it and it peaked on the gauge at 30psi. WOW! I let off of the gas and tried again. Same thing. Now I am in super boost mode and I am afraid of blowing something up. I am hoping when I start the car again it will go back to normal. What are your thoughts on this?

I agree SS fan, 30lbs was awesome! I did get it to return to normal after a restart. Now the question...how do I prevent it from happening again?
