At face value, I would respond "every time I drive", because I'm never light enough on the throttle to stay under the vacuum demarc (the dividing line between intake vacuum and pressure).

If the question was reworded to read if I use "Competitive Mode", then it would be "occasionally".

Reason being is that I use my SS for business, so I'm not thinking about it (Competitive Mode) when I have business on my mind. I seem to be subconsciously in "business mode".

On the weekends, regardless of what I need to do (hardware store, restaurant, community event) I seem to always hit the TC button twice and the fog light button once, probably because my frame of mind is out of the business grind.

That's me. One of the few times I was driving in regular mode and didn't see the car icon on the RPD I though something was broken.

Seriously.....is it POSSIBLE to drive an SS and keep it in vacumn (and still be safe enough to not get run over). I absolutely love my SS (it's my second) and have had turbo vehicles since the early 90's but I would love to put a bigger turbo on it just to induce a little more lag Wouldn't mind the extra power either. Everybody thinks I'm racing them at red lights. I guess the auto crowd can probably ease away from lights a little smoother...but once you give it gas in 2nd my manual equipped SS boosts hard with almost no throttle (Staged as well).

Here's good times. It's hard to take a pic while I'm in the boost though.

Just drive the car.

Most of you here have owned the car enought get get over the gauge envy.

I just drive for the most and keep the stereo up.

I have the annunciator light set on the boost gauge to light off at at 20 PSI just to know all is working right.

It is time for most here to act like they have owned a performance car for more than 6 months. LOL!
