Fresh Mobil 1 and filter for the reg wagon and the dash still reads "change oil soon"...any suggestions?

 

Reset the oil monitor as per the owners manual. Or try turning the key to run (but not starting the engine), and tap the gas pedal all the way to the bottom 3 times within 5 seconds.

I'm told the "gas pedel reset" does not work on the SS. I think it has been mentioned on this forum as well.

 

Snoopy - I believe you are right about it not working on the SS. If it was my SS, I'd still try it though LOL

3 tap doesn't work on the SS. It's not in the 2.0's programing system like it is with the 2.2's and 2.4's.

But. I've posted that before and no one remembers.
