Help with compressing rear caliper

I pressed the brake pedal a few times thinking it would bleed it but it just made it worse. I can't compress it with big groove lock pliers.

Any suggestions?

The rear caliper pistons screw in.
DO NOT try to compress them.

X3^^^^^^ the cube! Screw the piston in just enough to allow the caliper to slide down over the pads and rotor.

I must state that when I tried to use the 'cube' I had to use a die grinder to get the lugs to fit better.
Also, for me, it was a bit akward to use but did what was needed.

Did you notice the square holes made for a 3/8 ratchet?

Yes I did and I used that hole.
My issue came from holding the caliper while turning the ratchet.
The problem turned out to be an incorrect tool that would not sit flush with the piston.
With a little custom grinding I got the tool to fit better and the brakes got installed.
Thanks HF. You get what you pay for.

I did the redneck method when I upgraded my brakes.
A pair of small vise grips with the jaws adjusted to fit where the cube tool would go. Then a screwdriver inserted between the jaws to use as a lever. Then just turn it and retract the piston. Worked on both my rear calipers, no problem.
