Fixes like that are kinda like the equivalent of permanently draining the oil from your engine, because it was burning oil.

Turning the DRL’s off may save a burnt bulb or socket, but the tickets and fender benders are much more costly.

But the question now is, did OP disable the running lights, or the parking/tail lights/markers? Quite a different problem!

The DRL and the markers and the tail are all on the same relay and fuse on a 2006. It is different on 2007 onward.


The circled brown wire goes to the rear light.
