It is sooo much quicker to post a request for part numbers than to just do leg work.

Not!

If you check for years 2008 SS or 2010 SS, the part numbers are the same as th 2009.
Thanks.

I don't trust that unless someone says they actually got it and installed it.
Rock Auto shows a few lower control arms that they state fit the HHR SS but the parts show FE1 and FE3, and show up for the regular HHR as well, and none of them specify FE5. Granted the ones listed above do not show up for the regular HHR. Still I'd like to hear from someone who bought them and installed them.

I went to Advance Auto and they came up as 'rare item' on the computer so they don't sell it. I went to Autozone and they said they had them for $135 until I pressed them further then they admitted SS did not come up on the screen, just HHR. So no go there either.

Could be they use generic pictures. I would think part number would be best to get the proper part for it. Like I posted, those are the AC Delco brand control arms and listed as turbo so I would try them if I needed them.
You could get the GM number and try and find those.
I do know the SS has specific parts for the FE5.

Yeah, the FE5 has different parts so I would use the AC Delco's or get the GM part number an try and find it.

I have had good luck with Rockauto (knock on wood)!
Sometimes it is the same price locally, sometimes well worth it even with the shipping. Plus you can call Rockauto to confirm that is the right part/part number B4 you buy it.
