Knock sensors P0332
What happened to your post?? I fixed the text color.
To test P0332: disconnect and put your VOM between each the contacts of the harness to ground. If you get 2-5 volts get a new KS.
The KS is basically an electret microphone.

On the SS, both knock sensors are the same part number. So if you don't mind the labor, you could swap #1 with #2 and see if the DTC changes. But it does seem like a bit of work. When I was looking, the new didn't seem very expensive. Around $20 if I remember.
I don’t work for anybody, most parts come from the same source just different packaging, some are bootleg crap some are just as good as OEM, some are better than OEM. Most OEM GM parts are becoming obsolete for these SS’s and some LS/LT parts also.
TLDR - Does anyone know for sure what the correct GM p/n is for the #2 knock/detonation sensor for a 2010 HHR SS manual?
My P0322 is back, except this time, it won't go away. (To save readers from scurrying around previous posts, previously, it would just appear sporadically.) So I guess I have to address this. Quite drivable but somewhat less power and fuel economy as the ECM dials back the timing just to be safe.
I don't want to dig in without having the part on hand. Yeah, maybe just a chafed wire, but from what I've read, it seems there's a high probability it really is a bad part.
I'm having trouble ascertaining the right GM part number, and I'm finding inconsistencies in the part number crossovers. This is a critical performance part and the correct operating properties a crucial; even slightly wrong signals could result in suboptimal ignition timing, or worse, allow a damaging level of knocking.
I'm assuming #1 and #2 are the same.
As we well know, the parts peddlers' "fits" is not the same as correct.
I need to at least start with the correct GM part number. Does anyone have this from an authoritative source? I've been to Rock Auto and they list several, but no GM #. (They do list an NGK/NHK that I would trust in a pinch.) Otherwise, I'm calling my Chevy dealer parts dept. on Monday.
TIA
