You are correct my friend. The only HHRs that came with LSD are the ones with brembos on them. I didnt have LSD either till my tranny decided to go out on me and i replaced it with an LSD equipped one

 

My '08 (5 spd) has LSD but no Brembos.

 

Double check on that man, i mean unless i got wrong information. Per your VIN you have LSD??

 

I believe they were offered together in 2009 and 2010. Brembo was not available in 2008, but LSD was. The 2008 I test-drove a couple of weeks ago was so equipped.

Brembo's were rumored to be available for 2008, but it never panned out. They came as a package with the LSD in '09 when they finalized the option lists.

To SSFan: Yup, you could only get 2wd by getting a 5sp with the LSD. Not aware of anyone that makes an LSD replacement for the auto. Going through an auto to manual conversion - oh my - just by another SS.
