New AC Delco Plugs = Less Boost?? WTH...

Seafoamed the engine, changed the oil...and installed a new set of AC Delco Plugs.....and now....the car will only boost to about 14 PSI (GMS1) and to about 19 PSI (Trifecta)????

Anyone know what the heck is going on? I reinstalled the Trifecta last night....and everything was good. Got in it today....and it like "reset" itself...??

All I did was change the plugs and change the oil...I've had the trifecta installed for over 4 months now...

Since I "lost" most of my boost...I reloaded the trifecta again...and I gained it back. But...I started it up today...hit the gas...and my boost was back down...

Check any connectors you unplugged. I would look at the pins too. Any codes?

Only connectors I unplugged are the coil pack connectors....they clicked and are plugged in 100%. Nope..no codes. Just doesn't make sense that all I did was change my oil and install new plugs...gotta be something electrical..

Who told you that?

It says all over the can it's fine to use in all types of engines....including Turbo equipped engines. I also made a post about it a few weeks ago and noone said anything about it not being "recommended"....

Guys over at cobaltss.net are doing their engines with no problems as well.

dont quote me on this but the reason its bad is because when you seafoam your engine it basically runs through your whole motor grabbing every little piece of soot and dirt it can and then throws it out the exhaust. of course on a turbo car the turbo comes before your exhaust, so your getting all that **** running through the turbo. think of it like a jet engine running through a sand storm... it doesnt really work to well. Aside from that im pretty sure its not too good for the seals as most of the time the soot is what makes the seal. once thats gone leak city :O.

the cobalt guys probably are doing it as a fuel additive (just in the tank) which i dont see an issue with but if you do it through a vacuum line...well thats where the problem is
