No crank

I had the exact problems as described. I had the hood up and tried to start, First I heard electric cracking sound, then saw Grey smoke, where I believe to be coming from the electric plug, between the air filter bow, the the fuse box.
I know cracking and Grey smoke is not good, just wanting to know what electric modules( I probably did) I need to buy, including the square Grey fuse at 51 and 43. 2009 hhr ss 5 speed

Help please and thank you

Since it seems like you are clueless when it comes to auto mechanics, maybe you should go to a shop. I have no idea what electrical plug you are talking about. If smoke is coming from a connector it is doubtful that a relay is to blame; more likely a wire is burnt and shorting.

What is YOUR exact problem?

No crank

Good morning to all and thank you for responding,
Car will not crank, these are the codes I got last time the engine was running
P2626-00- Hos2 Pump current trim circuit Sensor 1
P2297- hos2 performance fuel cut Sensor
B1325-03- control module power circuit low voltage
P2929- i think was D acceleration fuel cut off circuit sensor 1
The owners before myself, had the recall work done to the ignition key, and the fuel pump issues.
I have replaced the battery and negative cable recently.
Pics

First pic is where the Grey smoke was coming from it is located on the right side of air filter box, just above the oil fill cap,
i do not know what is Sensor/module is called, please help.
Second pic is the fuse box, I visually checked for burns and smell.
Third pic is coming off fuse box, checked for burns and smell.
Fourth pic is the fuse in 43 and 51, are these still available with this part number, on rockauto.
Hoping y'all can help, and I truly appreciate all of the help and information.

I don't know what "same problem" means so I moved this to a new thread.
When did this begin? What was done just before it began? What model/engine?
Whatever, grey smoke from electrical things is very dangerous. Stay close to a fire station.
