Oil cap

Now from what I know, an LS1/LS2 engines oil filler cap will fit a 2.4. I have one on mine. I would imagine the 2.0 has the same oil cap, yes, no? If so you SS guys may be interested in this ebay item:

And for those that have converted to dual exhaust - this would be great: http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...&products_id=2

Quote from a (thankfully) ex-vendor, "The Ecotec engine requires a higher amount of back pressure than most engines. Try running a "performance" muffler and you'll see what I mean; gutless, no low-end. On the HHR; back pressure is your friend!"

Guess he never discovered the O Pipe!!

You know, I made this joke in front of someone one day.....They laughed right back at me and showed me that the new DUAL EXHAUST BMW mufflers DO have muffler bearings. "I was like you have to be kidding "Shutup"; THEY DO" When the car starts on dual exhaust BMW's, the bearings allow the flap to close on one side of the exhaust so that the engine can warm up faster; then once its warm, the 'bearings' and flap open back up for full dual exhaust. "Listen next time your at the rear of a dual exhaust BMW; you will hear a little 'rattle' like sound right after it starts. The 'hatch' was closed..........

I don't know to much about that performace cap you guys are referring to, but I have had both HHR LS and HHR SS. I seem to remeber the caps being exactly the same. Only differance is the Mobile one printed on the 'SS'.

Nobody said they were "performance caps". They are just billet caps with SS on them just like the Mobil caps for dressing up the engine bay.
