The other day i threw a p0101 the maf performance code car would backfire and jump when in boost i have a custom hp tune set for 24lbs but since i erased the code and shot the maf with some maf cleaner it shoots to 29 sometimes 30lbs everytime i nail it i am stumped someone help please

 

Post a log on the HPTuners forum if you can, anyone can join the forum. It is difficult to tune around the 30 psi spike sometimes. If it just spikes for a second or two it's probably OK. If it stays at 29 or 30 that's very bad, things can break or burn.

 

Sounds like MAF fluid burning off. I very well could be dead wrong, but with my old truck (1999) if I sprayed anything under the hood, if it ran bad for a bit, there was residual still there.. may just need to burn off.
