p/s spark plug won't come out
Good morning, well, kinda,
I started early to change my spark plugs, while it was cool, like I've done many times before on other cars. Everything was going well until I got to the passenger side plug.
It started coming out a little tight, unlike all the others, so I thought it would get easier as it went along. WRONG!!! Now it is stuck nearly half way out. Won't go in, won't come out.
What do I do??? It's as if the last person cross threaded it and just left it for me. Yay for me, huh?
Any Suggestions?
I was going to see my mechanic this am @ 10:00 about the noise in the d/s front end but don't know if I should drive it or tow it.
I started it and it seems to run smooth. I hate to say it, but HELP!!!
Screwed in Oklahoma!

If it IS halfway out, driving it will overheat the plug and probably melt the end. You're going to have to either get it to go back in, or take it out and replace it. It's hard to say what's your best bet based on your description, but I would probably try and re-tighten it first.
I had one get cross-threaded on an old Quad 4 once, and it melted the plug and blew it out the top of the engine. I drove about 20 miles on 3 cylinders... I was able to helicoil it without removing the head, though. Hope you don't have to go through anything like all of that.

Thanks Blue SS
Problem solved.
I traded it back for an 07 HHR 1LT, 52605 miles, Sport Red Metallic. It has options the 06 didn't have on it such as running boards, spoiler and tow bar. 45, 000 less miles was the best part.
Thanks for the help.
