use the search function up top, type in No Boost you will get a number of post regarding it. My inital guess is that it's the waste gate actuator solenoid

Welcome to the site!
X2 , now they don't come from GM separately from the turbo , but you can get one from these guys, here's a link...

If this turns out to be the problem

Thanks OB I'm out of town right now and don't have full internet access right now. Just thought I'd throw out an initial response and wait for others to join in.

That's odd that there are no codes. But yes, if you're overboosting, good chance it's the wastegate solenoid(aka boost control solenoid). Did you get your boost back after starting the engine the next time? That's usually how it is.

And :welcome8:!!

After I checked everything I road tested and it's overboosting aging making 30 when it should only be 15 as previously stated its bone stock

You should check the vacuum/pressure lines on the turbo and on the boost control solenoid on the turbo(with 3 hoses and a wire connector). Shown here in the pic, keep in mind that the hose on the right seems to be integral to the solenoid, attached to it under the wire connector.

When I changed out my solenoid, the clamps snapped off effortlessly, weakened by heat cycles. Your clamps may be broken, your hoses may be cooked. There have also been reports of the wire connector itself being cooked, crumbling when trying to remove it.

If that all checks out, you could check the lines associated with the bypass solenoid, that's the one on the intake manifold that looks similar to the one pictured above.

There was another report here, his charge piping was ripped, somewhere it was difficult for him to see. I don't recall if he had the same symptom, but it would be worth checking. Let us know what you find.

I checked all the connection and everything is snug and tight thinking it's the wastegate because the sound it makes when boosting is abnormal for the flutter when releasing pressure does anyone know where I could get just the wastegate by itself Chevy wants 421 and its special order ? Possibly aftermarket

I don't suppose you read posts #2 & #3?

Or, tried the search tool?

This has been discussed a lot lately. The reason GM wants so much is that includes the turbo, they don't sell parts.
