LOL, no worry. I've been fussing with this in increments while I still have a little meat on the pads.

Ira

Color me stupid. I guessed that after I spoke too quick. I've changed rotors and pads on lots of my vehicles, never actually had to do the calipers myself before.

Anyone know the correct part # or size for the washers? Ordered the calipers online ($144ea at Amazon, less with an extra gift card I had). Expect to get any small parts, and fluid at NAPA or Autozone.

Paint looks great on those! I may paint the new ones before I put them on.

I don't remember the part numbers for the washers, but GM thinks they are made of gold not copper. I have some in my tool box that I bought for reasons unremembered. They were nearly $5 each IIRC.

Those washers should be available at your local auto parts store. Just take an old one with you and match it up.

I got the washers at rock auto:

ACDELCO 21012386 (21012386@0127) Hydraulic Hose to Caliper (Banjo) Bolt Washer $ 0.44 $ 0.00 10 $ 4.40

Bag of 10 for $4.40.

Mine are red and they definitely stand out. I don't like how you can't really see the logo on the side anymore and don't want to go into detail work right at the moment. Maybe one day, I'll sand back down to the indented logo and hand-paint it.
