Shift problem

Wondering if anyone with a 5 speed SS has had any problems with quick shifting. Three times now when either shifting into second or forth it was like the trans goes into neutral when the shifter is in the proper place for the gear. When this happens I push up on the shifter to neutral and you can hear the shifter pops back in place. This is a bad thing cause the engine revs to 7 grand cause im thinking I am going into gear Any adjustments or what? Thanks

There is no adjustment for the shifter and cables according to my dealer. I had a different shifter problem were mine was freezing when it was cold outside. The dealer replaced the shift cables and the overall feel and accuracy of the shifter was a huge improvement. It had never shifted as clean and easy since new as it had after the new cables. G.B.

Maybe this is a problem with 08s more than the 09s. Its only happened a handfull of times on my 09, but the 08 I drove when they just came out had this problem like 10 times, then the transmission blew out.
