Shimming the IC forward

I have read on here that some users shimmed their IC forward a bit. As some of you have read before, I have had nothing but boost issues with my 09 and my dealer cant figure it out.....again...... Last night, I lost all boost....again.....while driving normal. Went to hit the gas......nothing. Boost gage would not go past 3. Press it to the floor and it does not go past 3lbs. Its as if you are coasting. I keep doing it until the car drives normal again. I cant stress how dangerous this is.....especially when I am commuting to work on the parkway doing 70 and this happens. Our tech in our dealer has no idea.
I'm ready to lemon law the car, thats how angry I am. Nothing but issues at different times with this car. They want to check to see if the wires are messed up on the sensor or if is hitting again. They soldered the wires last time they ripped off. They also modified the sensor connector for more clearance. I dont know what else to do........

To be honest I would probably Lemon Law it. From what I've seen between the HHR SS and Cobalt SS/TC is that if you get a good car your relatively problem free (minus the crappy rotors GM keeps using on vehicles ), but if you get one that runs into issues, its usually a issue that can't be found or a re-occuring issue.

The tech did suggest lemon law. Im a little leary. If you owe money on it (like I do since I financed), you can take a huge loss. They dont give you what you owe but rather book value. I'd have to look more into it. I love the car, when it runs right, and I hate to part with it in such a way but I am at my wits end with this car.
