SS Lower Control Arms

What's current status on replacement Lower Control Arms for the SS? The GM parts have been discontinued. I ordered a set from Rock Auto that their website says fits models with FE5 suspension, but they're steel. I highly doubt they have the correct SS ball joints. When I check Advance and O'reilly's website, they say that the part numbers that I got from Rock Auto do not fit a HHR SS. Rock Auto's website shows another set that fits HHR SS's. The photo shows aluminum arms, but I'm having hard time trusting their website anymore. What about MOOG RK620897 and RK620898? Both Advance and Rock Auto's website says those numbers fit a HHR SS and Rock Auto's says those are aluminum.

There is a long thread about this that contains links to the vendor that carries them. I'd tell you but I forget their name. Search is your friend.

Virtually all the parts peddlers get these SS parts and others wrong. Never trust their listings.

ZZP now has the correct aluminum LCA's with 20.5mm ball joints, but also sells just the ball joints So does OTTP.

Why are you replacing them? Usually, all you really need are the rear bushings.

See this sticky for an exhaustive discussion:

If search was my friend, I wouldn't be asking questions. Apparently my search didn't find the one thread that you're talking about. All the ones that I read said to buy the now discontinued GM arms.

Yes, my rear bushings are completely shot; I thought it would be simpler to replace the entire control arm, but I guess not. I did read that thread, but when I clicked on that link, it took me to a control arm with a 19.5 mm ball joint and wouldn't let me change it, so I assumed that it was just another website with incorrect parts. Do you know if K201285 is the correct number for the good Moog bushing? Moog's and Rock Auto's says it is, but I don't trust anybody's website anymore.

The rear bushing is K201285, and ZZP has correct ball joints as does OTTP, if you want to drill out the rivets and press in new bushings.

If you clicked on the link you should have noted that BOTH 19.5 am 20.5 are listed, you have to select which. 2 minutes ago the 19.5 was grayed out, only the LNF is available.
