Me too. Had to pull over to knock out the snow. Have to drive the SS 92 miles a day for a while since the clutch went out on my Metro.

Same thing happened to me. There was quite a bit of snow caked in the passenger side wheels. I drove a few miles and had to pull over because the vibration was intolerable.

In the old days, the brake drums would transmit heat to the (steel) wheels and the snow would melt and fall off.

These aluminum wheels don't seem to carry off any heat generated by the brakes. It's all air flow.

The heat is there it is just the wheels are more open and bigger. Also the positive offest gives more room on he inside of a large wheel.

It never fails.... Every year, I'm turning a corner, and I hear a grinding noise. I start to freak out thinking something is broken, than realize it's just the huge slush chunk behind the wheel and the tire is rubbing... You think I'd learn.

This post makes me think you all get little snow in a year, or you have better street crews :) This winter is real easy in NE, but last was so bad that the SS never saw pavement in the winter. We got what you east coasters had last week twice! Anyways, tire imbalance from snow is common no matter what you drive if it has time to pack in the rims. My Jeep has 33's, and because I am slightly a moron who feels the need to hit every possible snow mound or travel down roads with 2 foot drifts, I have to clean my wheels off every big snow. The rattle is crazy. Only thing worse and more scary is Death Wobble. You 4x4 guy know that one.
