2011 LS v/s 1LT 16" steel wheels?

I cannot figure out why they make the 2 different wheel covers if the wheel specs are the same. They are both 5 spoke design. The only visual difference is the bulge over the wheel lug area on the 18 hole version.
Do these 2 wheels have a different offset that allows the lug nuts to protrude out further on the 18 hole model?
This is crazy.
I do not have a wheel spec. catalog any more or I would look up the 2 wheels for there specs. to see if that would give a clue.
If you go to E bay and put in "HHR Chrome wheel covers" then scroll down to see the seller "Tony Green" ... the pictures and description.. it has some confusion too but does show the 2 covers one after the other and gives application info that still leaves me confused.
He mentions that each Cover fits a certain HHR Wheel but the his application charts shows otherwise.
I just do not want to have a problem in making the Exchange because of some unknown technical issue.

UPDATE ....
I think I stumbled across what looks like a application explanation.
The chart I found on the wheel covers states that the 18 hole style wheel was only made for the 2006 models.
It shows that either wheel cover will fit 2007-2011.
AMEN !!!

My 18 hole steelies are OEM on my 2007 LS 2.2 litre, automatic!
The covers for the five spoke rims have deeper sides on each of the five spokes to cover the steel rim and look like alloy rims.
The covers for the 18 hole steelies, are more flat and more of the steel rim shows thru the holes between the spokes .
The two are not interchangeable due to these differences in depth.
That's why I like paint!! It fits the rim your working with!

So from what you know the 18 hole "Wheels" will fit both the LS and the 1LT 2006-2011
It is just that you need to have the proper 18 hole wheel cover to put on it ???
That is what I would be doing ... Just exchanging the whole tire, wheel assembly, Wheel cover .. between a 2010 1LT and a 2011 LS.
That's why I like paint!! It fits the rim your working with!
