Hey all, I'm looking at replacing my two fronts with 245/40, but keeping my stock Michelins (225/45) on the back for now until they get bald. My question is, with the different sizes will it throw the computer off? Is it recommended?

Only 1% difference in rotational speed, I doubt that would cause problems with the computer. I looked for that size myself, not very common.

I running that size on the SS, they seem a lot shorter to me, it will increase the rake, but I don't think it will mess with the computer.

The back sits higher than the front.

I know I don't have an HHR, but I'm running tires similar to that on my Sky Redline and it did not affect it at all. You should be fine.

Naw doesnt mess with the speed that much. But i got inside wear bad. Im going back to oem size just for that. Plus, you dont have sidewall flex to truly get better traction. Or so i have been told.
