Aftermarket wheels that clear Brembo brakes

Looking for wheels that will clear Brembo brakes without the need for a spacer. So far I am 0 for 2. My 20's curved in too much as they approached the tires and my current 18" Niches have too much material on the backside of the spokes. The 18s would require 8mm spacers while the 20s would require 12mm spacers. I would be ok with 3mm spacers and perhaps up to 5mm but really do not want to go that far. Heck my 18s have an offset of 35 and still need 8mm more.

What aftermarket wheels have you found to work?

Yes they are factory SS Brembos. They are not installed yet as I do not have wheels that will work with them hence this thread. I have mounted the rotors and calipers and test fitted the 2 sets of wheels that I have but no go on either.

07azhhr - one more outburst like that and you are done. Chill.

yes we get testy at times - and if you had to deal with the crap that has been here especially in the last few weeks with basically stupid posts and questions, and threads that go in circles with misinformation, or left out details you would have a better understanding. sometimes I really wonder why we even bother. RJ took the time to do a search for you - yeah maybe he could have worded it a bit fluffier so as to not ruffle your feathers - but hey - you didn't indicate you hadn't done a search - so we often will point the search function out.

so chill and lets start all over.

I will likely delete a couple of posts here that got off topic.

Just for clarification purposes I did search before starting the thread. Thank you Whopper for cleaning up the thread.

I have been looking at the wheels in the Cobalt thread. Some of the wheels are no longer listed on their manufacturers website's anymore. But these were ones off the original list from back in 2009. There are a lot of pages to go thru. But I am planning on working thru all the mentioned wheels to compile a list of the still available ones. I will post them here. Maybe it can help new SS owners. Hopefully some others can add to the list as well.

I found this on the Internet

2010 Chevrolet HHR SS wheels and tires packages. aftermarket rims, car rims ant tires packages, truck rims, performance tires. RimsDealer.com

There is no confirmation of the offset or if any of these fit the SS with performance package, Brembo brakes.

I have the SS non Brembo brakes setup on my 2007 LS. I had to adjust the caliper brackets to centre the brake calipers over the rotors because the SS hubs and steering knuckles are different from the LS/LT knuckles

Now this site has a list of rims that will fit your SS Brembo setup

https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/resu...&package=false

So, it’s a matter of preferences, get the make and model of rim that fits then surf on to find the best deals, in learey of low low prices as those rims might be the fell of the truck ones with a slight scratch or bend. Please don’t ask me how I know!
I hope this helps, I’m sure you’ve maybe even seen these sites.
