Anybody tried 255/40/18 tires on stock SS rims

Replacing struts with coilovers, interesting.

Maybe just maybe but ill figure something out. The nice thing is that i can raise or lower the car to give the tire enough clearance.

Yes, I know what coilovers are. Still not sure how that 29" tall tire is gonna work. Clearance is not just an issue with the front.

OK sorry for the thread jack, but will a 245/40/18 on an 18"x8" rim fit fine if I get coilovers and do a mild, (say 1.5"-2") drop later on? I'm 99% sure it'll be fine on the OEM suspension setup, but since I'm planning on Pedders (but will check these 'Stance' units out!) I'd rather know now before, well you know...

Yes I have 255-40-18 BFG on my stock rims and u really have to hard turning in to hear any rub. Every day driving no problems.
