Hey Sleeper,

We did a comparison between them and the tire rack and our tires were nearly the same price when charged shipping as the others with free shipping! The last set of tires we purchased for our other ride we were able to get the local shop to come real close to tire racks price so we thought we'd give them the business as to keep our money local!

DLVRNIT-

Yes, Tire Rack is where I got the Yoko's for the wifey's car, for Christmas. (Tire Rack has a great rep with us).

I've compared a few online shops & the difference is not large, but on some brands the savings are worthwhile.

I guess I'll go to the local shop & see what kind of pricing they can do.

Just doing my research. Thank You for the reply..

Was just curious if anyone had dealt with tirebuyer.com

Just my 2 cents the guys at my local discount tire gave me royal treatment and I got a 80.00 rebate in the mail don't know what Goodyear F-1's really cost but I ended up paying about 125 each for 245x40x18 thought they treated me right. You living down south are probably looking for more of a summer tire, just saying discount tire is worth looking at. happy newyear

The local discount tire matched the best online price I found on the last set of tires I bought. Convenient and cost effective.

Thumbs down tirebuyer.com ~Warning~

Thanks pitbull-

I'm scoping that site & comparing to the Rack..

I just learned today that tirebuyer.com has hidden charges, which negates any savings at all on comparisons..
So since they have no reputation that I can find, RED FLAGS Glad I learned that before I pulled the trigger..

So FWIW: Watch out for hidden charges that are not listed till you commit to buy.
Local Tire dealer clued me in on the dealio...

sleeper, at the time I bought tires treaddepot.com had the best price. I took their price to discount tire and they matched it.
