When I bought tires for my Solstice wheels, I went to Discount Tire. They price matched prices I had found on tirerack.com. Would defenitely go back there.

Thank You, these are the sites to find low prices, then I copy the link & show it to Discount Tire to beat or equal the pricing.
Only cause I have never dealt with some, & in the fine print one says a 3 yr old tire is still considered new & fresh.. LOL Not to me.

I wish Tire Rack would match or beat lower prices..

An update:

I contacted "TireBuyers" recommended installers in my area (2 of them) & phoned each, & asked if I had any problems (at all) with the tire(s) would they honor the warranty.
They both said NO, I'd have to buy direct from them for their coverage.

& if I had a problem when buying directly from tirebuyer, I would have to send back a tire or tires & wait till they inspect & confirm or not my issue, at my expense...

I contacted Tirebuyer & they assured me that is not true, & they were going to look into it. I have NEVER heard back from them..

At any rate I threw the towel in on this source, & bought nothing..

Just my personal experience with them. Someone elses may be different.

When I buy tires online, I look for warranty & local resources that will stand behind it..
& Yes I do check first before any purchases.

 

I bought a set of Continental ExtremeContact DWS 225/50-17 from tirebuyer.com for 132.25 with free shipping. I am in oregon and they showed up in less than a week with a manufacture date of December 2010 (ordered the end of January 2011) so I was pretty impressed considering everyone else I contacted for that size said it was on national backorder.

They will get my bussiness again.
